Repairs
At Crown Point Cycles we have a fully stocked workshop which handles dozens of repairs every day. Prices vary from incident to incident, so we cannot give a typical price for a repair on this site.
To give the best price for a repair, we like to see the bike in person. That way we can see the extent of the repair which is required. We can also recommend which parts or accessories we can use – again, this will vary the price.
Typical repairs we carry out include
- Puncture repair (mountain bikes, wheel chairs, scooters, prams and pushchairs – we’ve repaired them all!)
- Wheel straightening
- Wheel rebuilding (we often will use a third party expert for the more seriously damaged wheels)
- Headset replacement / repair
- Brake tuning / replacement
- Suspension or disc break bleeding / repairs
- Gear tuning / replacement
- many more…
As well as the individual cases, we do offer a service for bikes. This generally includes tuning the gears, replacing gear and brake cables, ensuring wheels are balanced and a few other tweaks here and there. We will advise on a client by client basis for services as to what may be required.
